About Me

Gilly (Ziyi Wang) completed her PhD in the Salgado Lab in 2023. Her thesis, Type IV pili proteins in Clostridioides difficile, used microbiology and related approaches to investigate how Type IV pili contribute to C. difficile biology and pathogenicity.

Outside the lab, she enjoys playing music, taking photos and cooking.
